OWD/AODW Diving Course and Underwater Blasting Course

This course is a blast 😉 Split into three parts which can be booked separately:

• Diving Course: OWD for Beginners and AOWD for Divers
• Underwater Blasting Course for Beginners
• Blasting Practise for Explosive Engineers

Diving Course OWD & AOWD

Open Water Diver

The Open Water Diver (OWD) marks the beginning of the journey under the surface of water.

Beginners learn how to set up and check their gear, along with lots of input to ensure safety under water.

The end of the practical and theoretical course is marked by an exam to be licensed as an OWD.

Upon completion, you are enabled to dive together with another certified diver to a depth of up to 18 meters.

Requirements for the OWD Course

• Swimmer
• Above 15 years

Extent of the OWD Course

• 6 theoretical lessons
• 6 practise dives
• 4 open water dives

The Diving Courses of our IDEA Instructors are ISO certified.

Advanced Open Water Diver

Open Water Divers can enroll in the Advanced Open Water Diver (AOWD). This practical and theoretical course also concludes with an exam to be licensed as an AOWD.

Advanced Open Water Divers may dive into a depth of up to 30 meters. When combined with the Specialty Deep Diver this can be extended to 40 meters.

Requirements for the AOWD Course

• Open Water Diver (RSTC/CMAS Standards)
• At least 10 logged open water dives

Extent of the AOWD Course

• 10 theoretical lessons
• Search and Rescue
• Deep Diving in 25 to 30 meters
• Night Diving
• Reduced Visibility Diving
• Compass Diving and Orientation
• Basic Rescue Diving Practise

The Diving Courses of our IDEA Instructors are ISO certified.

Underwater Blasting Course

Possibly the coolest course you will do all year!

Join for the diving course and the blasting course and go home with two certificates – and a lot of good memories!

Blasting License

While you can participate as a beginner, our course is aimed at professional divers and blasters.
